Planning for the future seems as important and challenging as ever. Driven by an ongoing search for value and efficiency, and a growing stream of new technologies that automate traditionally manual work, firms are fundamentally re-evaluating their processes and business models. The Managing Partners’ Forum recognises that busy management teams do not always have sufficient tools or time to redesign their firms. That is where the Forum can be such a valuable partner. Share perspectives with and learn from those in different professions and areas of expertise

By providing a seamless platform with relevant ideas and a space to share issues and solutions, our members increase their knowledge and broaden their options through learning how others are tackling the multiple challenges we all face:

  • Events: Engage with experts, peers and respected leaders on the issues that really matter to you and your firm. Regular member-only meetings and roundtables in London for firmwide and client-facing leaders, and experts in: knowledge, innovation & technology; finance; risk; operations; human resources; marketing; and strategy.
  • Hubs: Engage between events with peers, experts, clients and campaign counterparties on the issues that matter to you and your firm.
  • Summits: Quarterly member-only Summits that bring together world-class business thinkers, leaders and topic experts to explore an important issue in depth, usually informed by an original survey.
  • Awards: Demonstrate and celebrate your contribution to the success of your business through our annual Management Excellence Awards.
  • Library: Increase your awareness of business issues and alternative solutions by searching our original content – event reports, survey reports and over 500 ‘Board Briefings from your Chief Strategy Officer’ - across eight channels.
  • Peer learning groups: Harness peer wisdom through sharing common challenges at meetings with the same small group, assisted by an expert moderator. Involves supplementary dues (see below).
  • Sector news: Refresh your firm’s strategy by reading the stories that help clarify and shape the strategies of sector firms, curated daily and delivered in personalised Bulletins.
  • Campaign Clubs: Be part of a strong independent voice on matters affecting our sector and wider national debates through contributing to surveys, attending local meetings and raising issues directly with Government, investors, philanthropists and corporate clients through a secure private Hub.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Contribute to our campaigns and gain direct access to Government

There has never been a better time to make the case for policies to help our diverse sector and the UK as a whole thrive as the challenges and opportunities associated with Brexit and the evolving Industrial Strategy unfold over the coming years.

  • Share your priorities: complete our popular surveys, some organised jointly with Government.
  • Join a Campaign Club: change is most likely to take place when those holding diverse perspectives come face-to-face on a regular basis. Each Forum campaign therefore has a Club at its heart.
  • Encourage your clients and other contacts to join a Campaign Club. Individual membership of the MPF is required for those from sector firms as this enables our campaigns to be progressed while preserving financial independence. Counterparties (Government, corporates, investors etc) receive complimentary membership during the duration of the campaign.
  • Shape the agenda: apply to join a current campaign team or suggest a topic for a new campaign.

Terms & conditions:

  • The membership year commences on 1 July
  • A pro-rata adjustment is automatically applied to those upgrading membership or joining during the year.
  • Those ineligible for membership of a Group or Club or normally based outside the UK are entitled to a 50% discount on Forum dues.
  • Team membership covers up to six people from the same firm based worldwide. For larger teams, contact the MPF.
  • All rates are exclusive of VAT at 20%.
  • Some events are restricted to members of the relevant Group or Club; others are open to any member of the MPF.
  • Club counterparties (Government, corporates etc) are entitled to complimentary Forum membership for the duration of the relevant campaign.
