Garrigues - Winner 2008

The project to move all employees in Madrid into the new campus was well considered, planned and executed. The firm’s approach to participation of both older & younger employees from all levels of the firm in the design process as well as their innovative approach to environmental issues, their employees and the community were first class. The submission breathed life and was a clear representation that the project was inextricably linked to the firm’s culture.

2ND PLACE

Eversheds - 2nd place 2008

Eversheds consideration of their clients, demonstrated by the development of a business lounge and contemplation room, when planning their new offices at One Wood Street is representative of their desire to deliver measurable business benefits as a result of their move. Their approach to green issues has been lateral and their green roof with its very own mini eco system will undoubtedly bring tangible benefits to both staff and the business as well as bringing wild life to a central London location.

3RD PLACE

Halliwells - 3rd place 2008

Halliwells move from 5 Manchester locations to one new state of the art building was the biggest project undertaken by any Manchester law firm. Their staff restaurant has achieved average building participation of 66% and the offices have been used as the set for an ITV production, the fee for which was given to their nominated charity. Business benefits from the move include reduced overheads and clients actively using the firm’s offices as workspace.
