The judges thought that Brachers’ management team had embraced the firm’s core value of ‘true teamwork’ at a strategic level, by spearheading a fundamental restructuring of the operations of the firm to improve internal collaboration and communication. Theresultwas an enhanced external offering for its clients with increased cross-practice teamwork. The Board, its sub-teams and the firm's department heads defined and implemented new ways of working for staff, through mentoring, project management, open communications and ongoing reviews. The achievements of the firm, including increased income, profitability, client retention and client satisfaction provided evidence of the effectiveness of the initiative and the actions of the management team.
