Does it matter to your clients if your firm is well managed? Who are the best managed firms?
Inviting clients to rate the importance of a professional services firm being 'well managed' is an innovative yet logical development from the recent Financial Times/MPF survey and report, which established that 30% of client CEOs see direct relationships with firm management as a top attribute of a healthy client/adviser relationship - six times more than firm management perceive to be the case.
MPF is interested in exploring the importance to clients of direct relationships with its members. Completing the MPF confidential client assessment provides a unique opportunity for any client of any firm (including firms instructing other firms) to express an opinion on:
- The importance of working with firms that are 'well managed';
- How highly management is rated at each of the firms that are currently being instructed;
- How clients speak externally about management;
- The one thing that management could do to increase its effectiveness.
Client feedback will help management clarify areas for improvement. It also supports the prestigious MPF Leadership Awards, allowing those firms that are highly rated for their management to be publicly recognised by their clients as 'Well Managed Advisers'.
Responses are analysed by MPF and Peter Hutton of BrandEnergy Research, with tailored reports for judges, clients and firm management. MPF also hosts a searchable database of responses. Participating clients can view a consolidated assessment for each of their advisers. However, non-participating clients are only permitted to view consolidated assessments for anonymous clusters of firms. Complete the survey.
