MPF BoardTalk is a new free member-only video series, in which MPF Committee member, Sir Nigel Knowles of DLA Piper, interviews an expert on a set of management issues that are currently being debated by the Boards of professional firms. Each video lasts around 20 minutes.

MPF membership has just two levels - 'Network' and 'Insight'. Membership, which is individual, renews on 1 July with a sliding scale of dues applying in the first year.

MPF Awards

MPF introduced its Awards in 2002 to recognise the contribution of specific management disciplines. Awards fall under four priorities for management as perceived by clients: leadership and business strategy; supporting people; commerciality and client service; collaboration across the firm and with external stakeholders. Any professional firm or network, large or small, is eligible to enter the Awards.

KNOWLEDGE

The MPF collects confidential data and conducts regular surveys amongst MPs and members of the management team based worldwide.

For example, the FT/MPF Client Survey is in its second year and focuses on management’s contribution to the client experience across all sectors. It also explores the changing nature of the relationship between professional advisers and their clients, and the core competencies and practical tools that add most value to that relationship. The survey is designed to be completed by MPs, fee earners and C-Suite members as well as clients. More on the FT/MPF Survey…

Knowledge brings together MPF surveys focused on aspects of strategy and leadership; Pulse (a free ad hoc enquiry service) plus the findings of Leaders' Groups surveys

The 11th Annual MPF Awards for Management Excellence were held in London on 6 March and the room was full of all the ‘good and great’ of the professional services community.
