The MPF has eight committees: two for corporate governance, the others to ensure that the views of experts are taken into account in MPF campaigns and other activities

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Executive Committee

The MPF Executive committee, chaired by Nigel Knowles, is responsible for setting and driving the agenda for all aspects of the MPF.

Council

The MPF Council, chaired by David Childs, acts as a high level sounding board to the Executive Committee on critical issues.

OTHER COMMITTEES

Employee Engagement Committee

The MPF employee engagement committee, chaired by Ed Smith, is responsible for helping firms be seen as great employers in the eyes of their people, and for publishing the annual MPF100 Best Professional Firms to Work For report.

Global Firms Committee

The MPF Global Firms Committee, chaired by Mike Francies and Stephen Denyer, is responsible for surveying and highlighting management issues pertinent to firms with a global presence and/or client base, presenting findings at MPF events and for publishing the MPF Global 500 Annual Report.

Leadership and Strategy Committee

The MPF leadership and strategy committee, chaired by Neville Eisenberg, is responsible for preparing surveys on strategy and leadership issues, summarising the findings, and making presentations at MPF events

Listed Firms Committee

The MPF Listed Firms Committee, chaired by Alan Hodgart, is responsible for surveying and highlighting management issues pertinent to professional firms listed on a recognised stock exchange, presenting findings at MPF events, and for publishing the MPF Professional Services Index.

Sales and Services Committee

The MPF sales and service committee, chaired by Richard Sharman and Kevin Doolan, is responsible for sharing insights on how clients purchase and fee earners provide services, and how practice group leaders should manage the process.

Sustainability Committee

The MPF Sustainability Committee, chaired by Nick Shepherd, is responsible for promoting deep and absolute reductions in greenhouse gas emissions such that the professions are recognized as a leading force in the fight against climate change, and for publishing the annual MPF Carbon Footprint report.
