The judging panel was impressed by the open and inclusive way the strategy was developed - getting input from employees and external stakeholders and then rolling it out through a series of company-wide events and seminars. This approach clearly created a greater level of understanding and accountability with “200 rather than 50” people concerned daily with meeting objectives.
The other impressive feature of this strategy implementation was the positive impact it had on employees and customer experience and on the financial results. It is great to be able to see the value of initiatives such as this appearing on the bottom line.

LCP was a close runner-up because of its innovative use of the concept of ‘gamification’. Changing behaviour through gamification has been around in a number of industries but is relatively new to professional services. The firm used gamification to get all partners and relevant staff moving in providing additional, new services to existing clients, delivering impressive results on the key metrics.
