Arthur Cox

In the unanimous view of the judges, Arthur Cox were worthy winners for their comprehensive Digital Transformation Program. It scored particularly well in the categories of strategic alignment and active leadership, primarily because the initiative was conceived and executed from the top by the firm's Managing Partner with the assistance of a newly appointed Chief Digital Officer. It also demonstrated clear beneficial impact – with one partner opining that it was now possible to create a complex document that used to take over 15 hours, in just 17 minutes.

2nd place

B P Collins & Vieira de Almeida Associates

We have two firms in joint second place: 

• on the one hand we have BP Collins LLP with their new flexible working infrastructure, which scored well on active leadership and positive impact,
• and on the other, the Portuguese firm Vieira de Almeida, with its robotic assistant initiative that takes the administrative load off busy litigators, and was recognised as being particularly innovative.
